A pub in Wolverhampton owned by an Isle of Man brewery, surely not. No idea why they chose Wolves for their first venture onto the mainland. Anyway it was very quiet on a dull and cool Friday afternoon when the wife and I popped in ( 9th Mar 2018). Nine hand-pulls, only three in use, keg selection had another two of their beers available, so five new ticks for most I would suspect, sadly only two new beers for me though. Designer Driftwood plays a big part in the decor of this single roomed, open planned place; raised area to the right by the windows. Lads behind the bar were OK, obviously a bit bored, beer quality was fine. Didn't eat.

This was a nice surprise for us. We decided to make a stop in Wolverhampton on our way back to Birmingham from Stafford Beer and Cider Festival, so we hadn’t done any research. We just wen’t by the RB map, and as this was the closest to the station and had a decent score, we started here. We didn’t even realise the beers were from Isle of Man until we lokked them up before ordering. They had three of their own beers and one cider one. Two more were advertised, but sold out. All three beers were good, but the cider was sugary. There is plenty of space here even on a Friday evening, and the curry smelled really great. Regrettably we had already eaten. If I make it to this part of England again I will surely be back - both for more Isle of Man ticks and to try the curry.

Visited on 7th May 2017. Looks like a converted bank from the exterior. Inside some money has been spent, large single room, drinking area to right and restaurant style seating on the left. Indian street food looked great is served all day. Beer range is a good mix of cask and keg from Hooded Ram. Had a special DIPA on cask which was pretty good. Beer quality was great, service really good and offered tasters of beer. Prices decent. Really good venue and one I would return to
