dead, this place is gone....

this joint closed down 4 months ago. thank God. I hate it when I see these little trust fund, bullhsit artist kids open a joint. They know nothing about the beer, or any other business. They want sooo bad to be P Diddy or some rock star. They think by opening a place thier lives will no longer suck! Well, good riddens to all of them & please....in the future use another venue for your pathetic comming out parties. And leave the beer bars to the ones who are passionate about....gee let met think, BEER!

Eddie Izard eventually served us with a few wisecracks and lots of attitude. Ephemere/apple was wonderful though served in a pint glass - maybe proper glassware resrvd for regulars. Nice menu with lots of tasty veggie dishes. A little too rave bar for us and very loud - but good beer selection in strange cage. Interesting live music - 6 nights a week.

FLY is in an old pink building that is kind of tough to find. It’s dark and kind of artsy theme lays the groundwork for the eclectic selection of beer within. I don’t think that the place opens before 6:00pm, but I could be wrong. I also don’t know what time the joint gets kicking but I can tell you that there are many fantastic brews in their coolers and on draft!
