68 Visited in April 2015. Just happened across this place as we were passing. Plenty of interest in the bottle range. If fact it’s mainly bottles - just a couple of taps. The manager/owner was very chatty and knowledgeable. Worth a look. |
66 Another trendy beer bar and eatery, but this one has a lot of promise. A few UK and US beers on tap (on my visit two Brooklyn and two Thornbridge) plus a reasonably interesting bottle selection. Prices, considering this is central London, aren’t as bad as some rafters suggest: I’d pay more at some Cambridge pubs. But it isn’t cheap. You will almost certainly get a rate or two here but it isn’t the most exciting or original venue. |
68 Modern place, friendly service, 3 taps of which two seem Brooklyn brews. Bottle list is OK, but don’t come here to find something new. Pricy. |
66 New joint that is easy to walk past. Decent selection of bottles and cans, got me a nice fresh tasting Sly Fox IPA, but as others have mentioned - a bit expensive. Staff very friendly. Well worth a drop in - you might well pick up a tick or two. |
70 Popped in on a Wednesday around 17.30. Place was very quiet, very cool, modern interior, decent bottle and can list. Prices are quite high. Let me take away a can as I’d gone in to see what it was like.
Some interesting beer available and the range seems to change. Worth a look but handy if you’d robbed a jewellers in nearby Hatton Garden first |
76 We were passing and saw a sign outside saying “40 craft beers” so had to investigate. It’s quite new, having been opened only a couple of months ago. It’s super trendy, with prices to match, but the service was excellent (friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable) and the beer selection is really good. It’s mainly bottles - there are just two taps (both Brooklyn), as there is little cellar space - and they also do food. Well worth looking in.
