Have visited a few times prior to a weekend break from LHR T1.
Airside bar in the main shopping area before you head to the gates.
I guess its done out to look like a ’trad-ish’ British pub.
Mix of high and low tables and seats around the bar.
More for eating that drinking and the waitresses like to seat you so you don’t end up with one person taking up a table for four!
3 cask lines, sometimes gravity/stillage.Nothing micro but fair play to them, the cask beers have always been in very good nick on my visits here! Expect the like of Wells Bombardier, Youngs bitter/seasonal, Courage and Doom Bar.
Other macro tap and bottle stuff.
Food available but not never partaken.
The bar service is pretty good to be fair and I’ve never had to sit with an empty glass for long.
Prices are airport/London - around £3.90 a pint however (not that it’s likely to yield many folks a new rate) you can get all 3 of the cask beers for £3.85 in a 1/3rd pint sampler bat.
Ok for an airport bar - it least it has well kept cask albeit not an exciting choice.
