This pub oozes character. Classic and quirky, it’s walls are covered with bric a a brac. So even while the beer isn’t very exciting - five casks with the likes of Greene King and Wadworth - you’ve got something to keep you entertained. Aside from the casks, it’s just macro junk on keg and in bottle. The staff is friendly enough it seems, although our server wasn’t particularly knowledgeable. Average pricing. Good music playing during our visit. The Thai food they offer smells very good, and looks good too, but I’ve not eaten here.
This place isn’t a must-visit, but it is fun to check out at least once.
