Desverger  (383) Copenhagen, Denmark | August 17, 2013| Updated September 7, 2016
Update: 07/09/2016: Place was closed during our week back in Streatham in August. Speaking to friends/family seems permanent, so have updated to Out of Business. Update:08/04/2015: On this visit The Waterfront has now changed hands and is now called "The Bank" - changes now to the interior appearance, don’t like it as much now. The real big blow is no more casks (used to have some great rare ones) - there is still some good keg craft but not allot to choose from. Score revised down. Update:16/3/2014: The Waterfront has certainly upped their game now. As well as the 3 cask pulls that host a rotation of rare gem/hard to find brews, they now have 2 x 3 keg taps, for Camden Town and Meantime respectively. In the fridge they now have plenty of South London representation with bottles from the likes of By the Horns, Belleville, and Clarence and Fredericks. Overall Rating now adjusted. Oh yes - and they still do some of the best Pizza’s in South London imo :-) Original Rating: 17/8/2013 - A restaurant/bar opposite Streatham Common which has become pretty popular around here since opening back in early 2000’s. There is the usual range of taps (mostly Euro pils) here on keg, but they normally always make a good choice on the 3 cask pulls they have available. There is also a good bottle selection US/Belgium/German etc. Certainly not an essential beer visit destination, but worth checking out if in the area (or visiting the nearby Railway pub) Worthy of mention is the Pizza’s they do which are lovely.
