Visited on a saturday evening. I was a little worried about finding a place to sit considering how busy it was in Hamburg city center this evening, but fortunately there was plenty of room inside the bar. Friendly, welcoming staff. 12 taps, a medium-sized selection of among other things some local Hamburg (Buddelship), a BBNO Table Saison and a number of Põhjala brews. I had two of the Buddelship, one of which was a nice IPA, and a pleasant Keller from Mahr’s. Cleanest toilet I ever saw in a bar. Cool craft beer bar, I would visit again if I were in the area.
A semi-cellar bar located on a street corner. 12 taps and a decent bottled beer list. Taster tray of 3 x 20cl available at a reasonable price. We chose to eat here & the burgers were very tasty. The staff were friendly & knowledgeable. I listened to them describing all the beers to a group of Americans. They tasted all the beers & then just choose one small beer each before leaving. It’s a pity they weren’t open on Sunday as we would have definitely gone back.
Visited on a Saturday evening, where the place was full. Twelve beers on tap with an ok variation, and few beers on bottle. The crew was smiling and helpful with good knowledge about their selection. Food is available, but didn’t eat there. However, the burgers looked quite good. All in all a good place to start you visit to the Reeperbahn area. Going to visit again on my next trip to Hamburg
Nice modern layout. Food looks good (and the main reason for most of the patrons, not the beer), but I didn’t try any. One of the most varied tap lists I’d seen in Germany and the staff were very interested in talking to us and to introducing different beer to all the people coming for the food. Great place.
Absolutely lovely place with great and *involved* staff. I came here from a conference I was attending in Hamburg - and after trying the other bars on this list I can honestly say this is the BEST craft beer destination in Hamburg. Period.
They have only been around for 3 months, but they’ve made up time with a STELLAR selection of German, Scandinavian, and even Estonian beers that highlight the best of those countries.
If you’re serious about finding a quiet but knowledgable craft beer bar that "gets it" in Hamburg. This is the best by far.
