I have hit this place up a hand full of time, I actully went here on opening week in 2007(a friend of a friend owns this place). The selection is good but nothing out of the ordinary when compared to the good beer bars of chicago. This place seems to focus on imports like german and belgians. The good thing I like about this place is the option of beer flights. you can try things you might really just want a sample of instead of a whole pint (a tickers paradise). The food is just average, had a burger here that was o.k. The service is pretty good, they seem to really want to be helpful, even if I didn’t need the suggestions, but thats cool. Nice place but there are better places in the area.

Their kitchen is currently under renovation, so that’s why the food score is so low. I was there during the Blackhawks Stanley Cup finals, and couldn’t get any service, but that’s not too surprising. I was there early on Saturday and got great personal service from the barkeep. They have a great selection of beers, unless you’re looking for something crappy. They offer $13 flights of 6 beers if you want to try them all. Lots of TV’s too. Great place!
