It’s sad as this place is closing. This was a frequent stop for me when I visited DBQ. They had a good list of beers available but the prices were a little too high. All their tap beer was the same price. The best part however is the happy hour. They had great specials available. The staff has changed since this place opened. Know adays they seem to stub their nose at anyone who doesn’t fit in their box. I don’t like to be treated that way and I don’t’ think that it was helping their business. The owner was great and wish he would keep the place open for a couple of more year. This was the best place in town to hang out with some friends and try some new styles of beer.

A beautiful little bar that ruined my grades my last semester of college. They have seven rotating tap handles and try to mix it up as much as possible. The staff is usually knowledgeable and very friendly. The music is always either live or on vinyl which I also adore. If you are in Dubuque and you can find this joint, then go.

Nice bar with lots of character. It is located in the basement of The Ryan House, a historic Victorian mansion in downtown Dubuque. No food, but they have 6-7 draught beers (all micros or imports) and 50-60 bottled beers. The staff are friendly. No smoking is allowed, which in my mind is a plus.
