Premium range trattoria with craft beer, just abroad the Bologna historic center - university nearby. They have 10 (?) taps with different beer styles. Tried brilliant one IPA from Italy/Denmark/Belgium. Came without booking and the manager said: ''we are full, so come back in 2-3 hours", what was really weak. One local girl said to join their table hopefully (thanks!). Prices 6-7 EUR for 0,4 litre capacity. Best quality crafts in Bologna.
Nice place just behind a University of Bologna lecture rooms complex. You’ll only find it intentionally. Nice interior, seemed a little noisy, and it was only lunch. 11 beers on tap, several local ones. The fact that they keep a handwritten tap list is a sign that they change them often, good! I had a pizza and two beers. The beers were cheap but the pizza was overpriced in my view (though it was good). Service was nice and kind.
High quality beer venue and up-market pizzeria. A bit on homage to lambics going on but also good splashes of birra artigianale Italiano, a few unusual and good session beers and a fine European range, plus a few US imports. Nicely balanced. A bit off the beaten track, snuck in between apartment blocks just outside the inner ring of dual carriageways but well worth finding. Probably the best variants on the pizza theme I have ever encountered. High quality ingredients and none of the greasy spoon stuff.
Located in a sort of light industrial / office area, 15 minutes walking from the main train station, Ranzani 13 is not a restaurant where you would end up just walking by, but it’s definitely worth a visit. The pizza is good, really good, just try it. They have a well curated, high quality beer selection. 10 taps and a good choice of choice of Italian and international bottles. Also a good selection of sours (cantillon, oud beersel,...). Knowledgeable bartender. Whoever is buying the beer here, knows what they are doing. Highly recommended, a must when visiting Bologna.
Nice restaurant in north-eastern part of city, just outside centre, with decent tap list. Good service, our server was friendly, bar keeper was knowledgeable but seemed a bit surly. Had a really good IPA - Omnipollo Zodiac from the tap. We had pizza (great) and a burger (good). Prices were decent for both food and draft beer, bottle prices were pretty steep though. Would come again for sure, #1 on my list of places to go in Bologna.
