This is an old school brewpub, many locals and not many beer geeks. The beer ranges from flawed to average. The food is rather unhealthy and really meant for the locals. I would visit again but Leavenworth is really not a fun place to visit. But its not really worthy a special trip out if there are other KC options to look into.

Very cool old building with great atmosphere. Stopped in the restaurant side for Sunday lunch and it was mostly family and older couples (well, it *was* Sunday lunch!) but the saloon side of the building opens later in the day and it looked more geared towards the nightlife crowd. Beers are average at best. Had the flight and didn’t finish most of them. The food was decent.

Have visited a number of times in the past few years. Decent food, decent service, decent atmosphere, decent prices, and I guess the beer is decent too. Nothing exciting, but worth stopping by.

A micro brewery in Leavenworth Kansas? Who knew? High Noon Saloon is located in a terrific old brick building. The interior has sort of a western flair to it, which, considering the name, probably isn’t a surprise. While most of the regular beers aren’t terrible, High Noon shines in terms of their seasonals and special release beer, which are among the best you can get in the area. Likewise the food is okay, though nothing terribly memorable. Still, it’s better than what you can get at your typical chain restaurants.

Authentic rustic feel, decor and patrons alike. Usually a good selection of beers (about 8 or 9 at any given time), although the quality of these can vary highly, and this brewer tends to shy away from anything big (as in big beers), so don’t come expecting to find an Imperial anything on. That said, I have had a couple of decent brews here over the years. Food prices are very affordable and has a decent country-type brewpub selection, and service is usually pretty good. Parking is never a problem. All in all, worth a trip up to Leavenworth every now and again.

Visited mid-week in February with kp for lunch and the sampler tray. The restaurant bar and brewery are located in a cool older building in the center part of older Leavenworth. Both the dining room and bar area are quite large. I sat at the large bar, and had excellent service from the barkeeper. The spicy catfish sandwich I had was tasty as were the sweet potato fries. Sampler was 7 beers, each a healthy 4-5 ozs. The owner of the place came out and said hello to Keith and I. Nice guy, seems to have a really good thing going - place is very popular with locals. Only drawback was the smoking, which varied from pretty terrible to being merely noticeable. Choose your spot carefully, if smoking bothers you.

Vistited a couple of times in the last 10 years. The only place in Leavenworth for local brew, which is surprisingly good. Food is pretty good as well. Nice setting in typical old downtown, renovated location.

A pretty good little out-of-the-way brewpub. They had about 8-10 different beers on tap (besides the macros), and most were decent-to-great. The place itself was hopping, especially on a Thursday night. The food was pretty good, and they had good food specials as well. A good place to go to with a bunch of friends, especially on a Thursday night.

The first time that I went here I thought the beers were pretty good. The second time I visited, beer was pretty lousy. This is a big joint and you have a good chance of finding a spot that is not excessively smokey.

This place was in a fairly dead neighborhood. The bar itself is very very large and seemed very empty while I was there. The place was clean with some old character. The tap handles were square and goofy looking. The beer was ok and I had it with some good gumbo. The turntable sampler tray was nice.
