This is hands down the best airport bar I’ve ever been to. Service was outstanding...the bartenders are friendly and attentive, and have good senses of humor. The atmosphere is nicethis bar is off the beaten path and isn’t quite as crowded. THEY PLAY GREAT MUSIC IN HERE TOO!!! The music was awesome, and not too loud. A nice, low-key, and cozy atmosphere. The selection is not greatyou won’t find many of the more interesting brews that Bluegrass makes at this barbut it’s great to try them out for the first time or enjoy ones that you know you like. I think that Bluegrass is one of the better microbreweries, although I do think it still pales in comparison to great lakes (fly through Cleveland-Hopkins to get that one!). I can’t say much about the food, but I can say that the prices here were very reasonable for airport food. I would gladly come back here any time I have a long layover or delay in the Cincinnati airportand I tend to abhor airport bars.

Like Shag a 6 hour layover gave me a chance to visit. The service was lacking the selection was ok I think it was 4 taps. Typical airport ambiance (little to none). My first beer tasted like soap the bartender didn’t want to believe it at first finally gave me another beer. I will stop by anytime I fly through just for the choice of beers.

For an airport bar this was a nice discovery. It’s not going to knock your socks off as the selection was limited to five lighter beers (Golden Light, Nut Brown, Altbier and two others). However it beats the selection at most places you would run into. Finding it can be tricky unless you happen to be on a regional jet it is tucked away in the C concourse. It would be nicer if it were in the main terminal so you didn’t have to catch a bus. If you do go make sure to allot plenty of time or check that your flight is leaving from Concourse C.

Been here several times - most recently June of 2005. Typical airport brewpub - have about five on tap of their own and then some BMC to soothe the masses. Wait staff is attentive and quick - cognizant of those needing to catch a flight. Food is solid brewpub fare and the beer is average for a brewpub - no boundary stretchers here. Worth a visit if killing time in the C concourse in Cincy airport (which really is in Kentucky!).

A waste of time.

I got to visit this place compliments of a 4 hour layover in the Cincy Airport. A hole in the wall but a very clean establishment. I tried the beer sampler and the beers were very average. The food was standard bar stuff but pretty good. It was all free compliments of a Delta meal ticket so that made the experience even better.

I just love brewpub beer in airports. Every airport should do something like the Shipyard at Orlando and BBC at Cincy’s airport. This beer bar is located in the C concourse (near gate C40). Contrary to what some airport rules are, you can hop on the train from your concourse and go to other ones, so you don’t necessarily have to have a flight from C to stop in.

The ’brewpub’ is kind of tucked into a corner, and there is a waiting area for departing flights right outside the restaurant so it can get pretty loud. The place is pretty small with a bar on the left and restaurant seating on the right. They do what they can with the atmosphere, putting banjos and other bluegrass items here and there. However, it’s hard to forget you’re in an airport.

The bar offers 4 BBC beers at a given time, plus one seasonal (the Nut Brown when we visited). They also have Bud/Bud light but the tap handles are noticeably smaller than for the BBC brews. They also offer a sampler.

The service here is about what you would expect at an airport restaurant. Not steller but not bad either.

The food is pretty good, I had a BBQ cheeseburger and it was tasty.

I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you have time during a stop at the Cincinnati airport.
