68 A surprisingly good selection for a grocery store. A pretty standard grocery store with lots of coolers of beer. They won’t have hard to find beer but solid selection overall. Not the best in A2 but good for a grocery store. |
70 Excelt selection for a grocery store. Pretty much any Michigan beer as well as a good bit of other craft. DFH 120 and WWS, among other big bottle releases, can be found here. Had lots of BA Shipwreck porter sitting around. A very nice grocery store. |
64 typical big groccerie store solid price and selection |
58 Another Hiller’s, which makes it a decent local grocery store. Comparing to the Northville Hiller’s, the beer selection doesn’t appear to be as extensive, though almost all of it is refrigerated, which is a plus. A good chunk are nicely available as singles. Walk-in is full of macros, though. One interesting note: walk down the international foods aisle (behind you as you’re looking at the beer fridge) and you’ll find some large plastic bottles of kvas, at least one of which is rateable (Monastirskiy Kvas) (edit--nevermind, this doesn’t appear to be rateable; it’s called Monastirskiy, but it’s produced in the US and flavored with horseradish?). I’m strongly thinking about picking that up to try in the near future. |
