The selection if beer here is nice. There are a lot of local brews and quite a few crafts. They offer an option to build a six pack. The food is good. There are a lot of different options. The staff is the only shortcoming. There's a sign that states that employees can't use their cellphones. Instead, they still seem either distracted or at least kind of slow while building sandwiches. Don't get me wrong, I like this place but they get backed up quickly. It seems like there's a sign on every corner that tells someone what they can or cannot do. It's kind of overwhelming.

Had 4 six packs of Hopslam for sale at $18.99 a piece, behind the counter. When I asked for 1, I was told I needed to purchase an equal $$ of beer in order to purchase a 6 pack of Hopslam. Needless to say, not setting foot in there again.

Cool neighborhood deli and beer store tucked into the Southampton neighborhood on Macklind about 6 blocks south of Chippewa. I came here because I generally don’t use supermarket delis or meat counters, and also heard they had a decent beer selection. Tons of 6-packs, a couple shelves for a mix-a-6, and a decent number of singles but nothing mind-blowing in that section. Quite a bit of the small store is devoted to beer, so there isn’t nearly as much food as I’d expected. Nice deli counter, with fair prices on really good deli meats. Seemed to be staffed by family and friends, so this is a super friendly place, but none in there at the time were beer people. Good place for locals, regionals, and a lot of other American crafts: Schlafly, O’Fallon, Odell, Founders, Bell’s, Big Sky, Southern Tier, North Coast, New Belgium, Rogue, and many others.

A nice little deli in a popular residential area. A decent micro section is along the back wall with a few of the six packs in coolers. You’ll defiatly find something decent here. Once i saw that they had the 8 pack of 12oz Unibroue beers here on sale for only $10. They do have a mix and match but the wierd thing is that all the beer are $3 weather you get a crappy bud lite or a Rasputin Imy stout. Making a whole six pack can get pricy but they allow a minimum of 3 beers. The food is tasty and cheap with eat in or carry out. If i was going to have a picnic in forest park this is the place to stop and get grub and pick up a few decent beers beforehand.

stopped in here last Saturday around noon with my wife and her parents for lunch on the patio. no frills, but great sandwiches and a decent beer selection as well. most of the beer is warm 6 packs, but there’s enough single bottles in the cooler if you want a brew with your sandwich. some of the beer available was Schlafly, O’Fallon, New Belgium, Odell, plus many others. did not see much in the way of seasonal offerings. if Lukas or Corral is out of the way, this is the place to stop.

Place Rating: 107. This place is located just 6 small blocks from my house. My wife and I had driven by this place multiple times and nearly bought the house 2 door down from it but I digress. It looks like an old style deli. Inexpensive and unsuspecting. Nice little patio outside that is usually near full. Inside there is a long counter where they make some delicious simple deli sandwiches that max out at about $5. But all along the far wall is bottled beer to purchase. The other wall is nothing but fridges again full of beer to purchase. Their beer selection is at least as good if not better than Whole Foods. Mostly main stream micros but expect to find every offering from Ofallon, Bells and other somewhat regional breweries that is available at the time. Definately worth a stop to see what they have if you have been to the regulars already in town.
