The third stop of our day-long Reno/Sparks beer crawl (after Buckbean and Great Basin). Relaxed pizza joint set off from the traffic of downtown Reno, hidden in a quiet neighborhood, Morandi’s offers a very solid selection of craft beer on draft and bottled. On tap: SNPA, Anniversary, an ESB, Deschutes Black Butte, Red Seal, etc. We hit them on a Saturday afternoon, such that about half of their kegs had kicked during an atypically heavy Friday night rush. Still, the bottle selection had plenty to offer, and we went with a bottle of New Belgium Biere de Mars. Other bottles included a selection of Belgian standards (Chimays, Rocheforts, Scaldis), plenty of regional beer, and even some Old Rasputin XII. A family-run business, Joe and Co. are doing great work bringing craft beer to this part of Reno. Looking forward to going back to try the pizza.

nice atmosphere. extra outdoor seating in the summer. service is usually pretty quick, and always super friendly. knowledgeable staff appreciates good/rare beers, and the brewer is enthusastic about his craft, which is refreshing. beer selection is quite good, especially for this area. taps you won’t usually see around here, and a nice mix of bottles, both rare & common. the food is good and the menu is ever expanding. i usually go for some sort of pasta & a dessert, but the pizzas are good as well, as is the burgers. good food prices, average beer prices. Overall, a great local spot...one of the only places I go to regularly.

2 weeks ago, came here for the first time since the change of ownership. The selection on draft has been very impressive and rotates about every week. Pliney the elder and dog fish head were on draft last week and this week rasputin and chimay triple is on draft. The pizza is the best in town and the bottle selection is very impressive too. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area or who lives in the area and loves good beer and food.
