I was in the area and finally found this place open (They were closed the last time I made the trek).
Great little bar area with maybe 7 beers on tap for sampling and growler fills. 3 bottles to go as well. Samples area buck a piece, two sizes of growlers, friendly albeit flustered woman behind the bar. There was bus tour there today as well as regular folk like myself. I didn’t get to see the brewery which I assume is behind the bar, glass would be nice there. I would return if in the area.
Blue Lobster is my favorite local microbrewery. The staff is very friendly, happy to talk shop, and pours some great beers from their lobster claw topped taps. They’re usually open Thu - Sun, but they even extended their hours around the holidays so customers could get fresh fills.
They do not offer food, but will let you bring it in. Dollar samples and reasonable growler fill prices. I only wish they had a license that let them pour pints.
Small brewery and taproom in the corner of a new strip mall. Minimalist styling, but it all works really well with the lobster/nautical theme. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they were clearly beer fans themselves. Only a few beers on tap, but all were so delicious; they clearly know how to make a great IPA. A great place to visit and worth the trip for any beer lover.
Nice brewery to visit. Really friendly bartender with 1 dollar samples of all 5 brews they had. I wouldve liked a few more things available to sample but they were high quality and i left with 4 bottles and 2 growlers.
It’s in a small strip mall which is rather quaint. It is not very large but I guess it doesn’t have to be. There were several beers on tap as well as a couple of small batch bottles you could buy. I picked up the stout and the porter. I did not try the food but other people there seemed to be enjoying it. The music that plays in the brewpub comes from a turntable hooked up to a speaker system which I thought was fun. You could buy full growlers or 750 ml. bottles of the brews on tap. The lady who helped me out was quite friendly.
Nice little brewery in a small shopping area. Nice decor, plenty of seating, and they allow kids to accompany you to get growler fills. A huge plus for me. Quality crafted beers, possibly the best in NH at the moment. Service is OK, but seems to bog down if there are more that 10-15 customers in the tasting room. Can’t wait to see what they continue to turn out in the future. NH represent!
Small unassuming place in a stripmall, with some of the friendliest staff and clientele I’ve seen - a welcome change after the douchbaggery we encountered in several more southerly states that shall remain unnamed. And the beer blew me away, each one tastier than the last. My only small regret was that they didn’t have many beers on when I visited, but that just means I have to go back. This is a place worth seeking out, and worth traveling great distances to find.
As you can guess by my rating I really liked this place. Probably the best brewery tasting room I have ever visited. Don’t let the strip mall setting fool you, one taste of any of their brews will convince you that this place is legit. The day I stopped in they had 6 different brews to sample available for purchase in a couple size growlers or $1 for each 4oz tasting. If you bring your own vinyl they’ll even play your tunes.
