64 I stopped in here Friday on my way home from work. Basically its a butcher shop, with some prepared foods to go and a sandwich counter. Maybe 200 craft labels for sale with some you can mix a six with. I didn’t see anything you couldn’t easily find elsewhere. Prices seemed about on par with the rest of the area. I need to check out the meat one of these days, but the straw rhubarb tarts are incredible. Not really a destination visit, but you are sure to find something to drink if you stop in. |
56 This is a restaurant and butcher shop with a modest craft beer section and a wine section. A lot of regionals and local brews and decent enough prices. They allow you to create your own 6-packs but only from selected beers. But I always like being able to do that no matter what the parameters are. I always find something. The T-Bones/Cactus Jack restaurant chain is well respected in New Hampshire and this is a new arm of that long=standing tradition. It is a destination stop if you want to pick up some nice meat cuts, frozen meals, hot sauces, and some beer. But I would not define it as a beer destination. I do like the choices. |
