This place was crazy, a 10x6 type of closet making 1 gallon batches. Pure shtick, nothing else. Right in the heart of CI. The 2 guys that brewed were cool. 12oz bottles were like 6 bucks. I visited here in 2010/2011 despite it being open for at least a year no other RBians had come around. Too lazy to trek out to South Brooklyn, my neck of the woods. I went once, bought some overpriced beer. Then a few years later the brand gets sold off to Sam Adams and of course it gets shut down. Probably been closed for 2 years now and no one has updated. Well, I’ll put the nail in the hammer.

Strange little place in Coney Island, next to the freak show. Beers only on bottles. Not very cozy or nice but you get to taste their beers.

This is a tiny little place next to the freak show close to the entrance to the amusement park. Was a bit disappointed given they only had one beer on tap (Mermaid), and a two of their house brews (mind you, it is a 1 gallon system so production is a 12-pack at a time). Had a saison and bought a smoked rye porter which is still maturing in the bottle. You can buy bottles (not cheap, 5$ for a 12 on) and shirts and such. They do offer free samples and the brewer-shopkeeper was quite friendly.
