Nice laid back vibe with ambient, low volume music and lots of exposed brick in the interior. Tap selection is limited and seems "fixed." The bottle selection is abundant with some stuff of interest, however nothing of uber rare. It’s a very fairly priced bottle selection though, maybe a dollar or two more than most stores. I like this place due to it’s laid back quite environment, but for a beer whore such as myself, who is always looking for something I have not had, I prefer a bar that puts emphasis on, not necessarily extensive tap selection, but an ever changing tap selection of new/obscure stuff, making the overall beer selection more volatile (such as Barcade).

Great bar! Very consistent. They’re always rotating in new exotic beers. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed.

Nice small-med sized bar, with an awesome wide bar top, which would be great for multiple tastings, and or eating, and whatever else might happen on a bar top. Very well thought out selection of american, belgian, and german beers, with a few others thrown in. Nice tap selection too. Food was good, I had a very tasty panini. Was too cold for outside area, but it looks comfortable, and will be great in the nicer weather.

Visited with the venerable austinpowers, however he is mistaken I am pretty sure I had the Wells Bombadier and for the life of me I can’t remember what he had to drink at this place that night - we’ll have to go back to jog my memory right buddy? Cool interior bar, but its all about the garden in the back - very cool. The bartender that night was stunning as well, which always garners extra points, and the food was definitely top notch. Recommended after you’ve visited the other great bars in the area.

Very Spuyten-ish, yet a bit more modern and publike. Excellent selection of quality beers - they offered Wells Bombardier. Big beer garden out back with a pleasant feel. Very good food - plates of cold-cut prosciutto, bresaola and various cheeses. One of Williamsburg’s very best bars. Deserves to be visited along with Spuyten, Gutter, Barcade and The Diamond.

I live half a block from here, just so you know. This is a pretty clean cut bar, which is kind of surprising considering the area. It’s nice and relaxing though. Service is good. Laid back staff dig what they are doing. There are 10 taps (that haven’t changed once over the past month...so I assume they are standards) and a lot of bottles. And also...a LOT of glassware. The food is actually pretty good and worth a shot. Though I will have to remind you that Dumont Burger is right across the street. I mean, hey. It’s a top 10 burger in NYC. Overall this is a nice clean spot that is worth the time.
