This restaurant was recommended to us by the bartender at 4th Avenue Pub when we asked about nearby places to eat. Turns out they also have a decent beer menu as Southampton, Six Point, Brooklyn, Peak, Kelso, and Unibroue graced the tap list on our visit, while Hoegaarden and Guinness were the only macros available (and you could certainly do a lot worse than that). I had a Sixpoint Crisp and Kelso IPA on tap with the Rotisserie Half Chook to eat while my girlfriend ordered some white wine and the Grilled Chook Sandwich for dinner. We also split a Baby Rocket Salad. Everything was tasty and well-priced and we really enjoyed the relaxed vibe of this place. Service was so-so as our food and drinks arrived in reasonable time but our waiter was too busy flirting with some girl at the bar to pay much attention to us. Overall, Sheep Station is a worthy option to consider if you’re looking for something to eat before or after 4th Avenue Pub. And, as it happens, the beer selection ain’t too bad either.
