This is a hip/trendy bar in a hotel. It’s accessible from the street so you don’t actually have to go into the hotel to eat/drink here. Speaking of eating here, wow, the prices are pretty high. Appetizers (what they call Snacks, so they should be small) start at $10. Burgers start at $12 but most hover around $15. In terms of drinks they offer beer cocktails. Neat idea but I’m not interested. The Steam Roller sounded fun just because of the name, but it contains elder flower liquer and as you probably guessed, Anchor Steam beer. The tap list wasn’t bad but not overly inspiring. Hoegaarden, Stella, Amstel, and Guinness were the macros. I saw Modello listed too but I didn’t verify that it was actually on tap because frankly, I don’t care. The better taps (actually Hoegaarden is pretty good but it’s still a macro) were Bear Republic, Voodoo, Captain Lawrence, and something called ACBC (seems to be a new local brewery). Interestingly enough everything is available in both pints and liters. Service was friendly and there was plenty of seating on a Monday night. If you’re so inclined they have a couple of foosball tables in the back.

It’s a decent enough place but 50 yards to the east you have Stag’s Head which is good for a couple choices and has a patio on the roof and 50 yards to the west you have Café BXL East which is a decent Belgian bar. That is to say I’d rather stop at one of the other options.
