I went there for a Goose Island tasting. A nice Irish pub with over 30 taps, and a decent bottle selection with over a 100 beers. They have southern tier, captain Lawrence, dogfish head, troegs, and Chimay just to name a few. There is a nice patio outside and a nice dining area. The owner John was very knowledgeable about beer and was very happy to talk about his selection. I highly recommend this place for the beer enthusiast but unfortunately I cannot rate the food because I did not try it but I am sure to go back.

This place opened in my neighborhood a month or two ago, and I hadn’t had a chance to stop by until last week. Well, I’ve been there four times since then, that should tell you something. To be brutally honest, if I could have drawn the place up myself, it wouldn’t have been as good. Unbelievable selection! Great, great food (cheap too!) Great location, and dynamite atmosphere. Really felt like a proper "pub". There was some cool Irish music while I was there, too. Would have been a perfect score, but for two minor, minor tidbits. I’d love to see a gueze or two on the menu, and there was a new waitress who didn’t bring me a beer in the correct glass--but the problem was rectified straight away. I eagerly look forward to returning to the Wild Goose, and should do so again this weekend!
