Hidden behind an unassuming strip mall front, this is not a bad place to grab a bite and a beer. The moment you walk in the door, you’re greeted by the sight of a hexagonal steel-counter bar in the center of the space, backed by a wall of tap handles, while a dining area opens off to the left. There’s a full menu of pub food (tasty, though not haute cuisine by any stretch), complimented by 34 taps and an equal number of TVs scattered about. They do indeed bill themselves as a good place to catch sports, but with an actual decent beer selection. 10 of the taps are dedicated to rotating local options, such as Rhinegeist, Triple Digit, MadTree, Blank Slate, et al, with another another 10 "permanent" taps that feature MCB, Yuengling, Smithwick’s, an Ace cider, and such. The other 14 taps are rotating craft selections, featuring offerings from breweries including Founders, Troegs, Weyerbacher, Great Lakes, Lagunitas, and others. There’s usually a German brew or two in the mix as well. As far as crowd goes, my girlfriend and I have been there mostly on Saturdays, and there isn’t really a crowd per se - just what appears to be a batch of regulars along half the bar, and a handful of occupied tables in the dining area. It’s a low-key place to sit and have a beer or five.

Visited after discovering this place through Ratebeer. They ended up having 4 new beers on tap for me, including two more rare ones: New Holland Monkey King and Great Lakes Ohio City Oatmeal Stout. When I entered at 4pm on a snowy Monday, the place was really quiet, which was cool for me, but then got noisier as the night progressed. It’s a sports bar, with TVs everywhere, and an arcade in a corner. The arcade noise can be kind of annoying. I didn’t care for the music (country and some hits), but not a big deal for a sports bar, and it wasn’t too loud. The place is in a strip, but the space is pretty cool. Big and open, lots of tables, nice big windows on opposite sides, some booths. The bar is very interesting... It’s shaped like an octagon, with space on each side for 3-4 chairs. I’ve never seen that set up before. I really liked it, made for a nice communal feel, while still having some distinct separations. Paul the bartender was a cool guy. Nice, offered good service, and it showed that he cared about the craft beers he was pouring. Everyone else I interacted with there offered reasonably good service, as well. Ended up moving to a booth and getting the Build Your Own Burger with my family later that evening. Turns out Monday is a cool night to visit... $2 off the burger and $3.50 for most pints, craft included. Food was satisfying. Overall, I liked this place, while it was quiet. The taps were impressive. I’d revisit.

I went here a couple weeks ago and debated about whether to enter it or not. So I’ll just rate it to counterbalance the clearly fake place ratings that were entered along with the place. The place is located in a strip mall and feels like a Buffalo Wild Wings inside. Not a terrible place, but nothing special. There is a large square bar and a good deal of TV screens. There are a lot of macros but also some surprising craft taps; seasonals from Finch’s, Bell’s, Green Flash, Ballast Point, Oskar Blues, and more. Could be better for locals, though. The food is average pub fare. The service is sub-par; slow, especially when crowded. Don’t expect anything extra in the way of beer knowledge, either. This place is fine for what it is and offers some craft choices but there’s no need to seek it out.
