Clearly a locals place. Probalby pretty good once you get on a first name basis. Beers were great and the slection was inviting. But the lack of friendly serivce drove us out early.

This is kind of a cool and out of the way place, that you could very easily blink and miss except for the troughs of spent grain stacked outside the building. This is a cool place and I mean cool, it was freezing in there. Coasters adorn the walls inbetween the dart boards. Sparse tables and bar space. They had a killer littlw blues band playing when I walked in. Looks like a hole in the wall with a bunch of local yokals hangingout, but everyone was quite friendly. Decent beer that is a steup up from homebrew, as alot of their beers tasted similar.

It’s our local brewpub so I’m partial. The food is just snacks out of the microwave or toaster oven so people don’t go for the food. The ales are excellent though and since I’m partial to stong and dark Toasty Oaky and Thor’s Hammer are favorites of mine. I also love the Scotch Amber and Yankee Clipper IPA is excellent. It’s a small place where the owner knows you by name and you’re likely to run into people you know.

Small out of the way brewpub, thats been in operation for the best part of a decade. Not much to look at from outside and even inside its fairly simple, yet its clean, light and welcoming. Maybe a dozen tables, small bar with 6 stool. The far wall is absolutlycovered in beer memrobilia..thats the wall that has the English style dart boards. Very friendly locals and the bar person was wonderful, letting me sample any beer I wanted..they had 10 regulars and I think 4 seasonals and specials, quite a line up for such a small place. The beers I did taste were very nicelly done. Did not try the food, but I think its mainlly snack type stuff. Overall a great little watering hole. Will visit again.
