Great pub with a wide range of Burnside beers. Nice that they offers a tasting tray with ten beers from tap. It's also possible to sit outside. The food meny was impressive and the food tasted fantastic. Friendly staff.
In the door a little before 11:30 on a Wednesday early in June. A couple of people hanging outside already and from the route we took around the block brewing smells filled the sidewalk. Sat around the bar that looks in on an open kitchen, which is also visible from all of the booths and tables. Three ciders and a guest tap, and then their own beers. Which were numerous. Opted for the ambitious double sampler to cover everything on tap which was 17 of their beers for $20. Server was awesome and a joy to chat with. She recommended a few other locals that I did not yet have on my fairly full looking map of places to visit. Beers were pretty good overall. Worth visiting.
Visited on a monday afternoon for some lunch and a couple of beers. Nicely decorated open space. Good selection including a number of seasonals. Beer was decent, food was quite excellent. Friendly attentive service. Stopped here on our fourth day in Portland, which is where I would put it priority-wise.
Interesting spot, but you can only do flights from one side of the board or the other, no mixing, or do every single beer on tap as a taster. Didn’t eat here, but sat at bar which overlooks the kitchen prep and food looked good. Beers were ok/decent.
A place I passed by on previous visits. They do have a small parking lot so I guess you can get a spot but mostly likely park on the street. Cool open space, kitchen right behind the bar. Service was friendly, decent range of styles on taps. I did not eat but the food looked super good.
Visited on 8th November 2014. Largeish single room with a side annex. This is definitely at the gastropub end of the spectrum and do beer and food pairing events.
The beer range was decent enough and tried the range in 4oz $1 taster pours which is good value. Service was good as the place was busy. Not the best spot in Portland for beer but decent enough.
