50 Located in the center of Philadelphia. Very modern furniture and long dark bar. Beer were mediocre and did not feel a strong beer culture. |
64 Went here on a first date ears ago. Food was okay. I wasn’t a big fan of the beers. When I go back to philly now I prefer to go to Monks or Eulogy instead. |
60 I’m not sure how long this place will be around for now that it’s been bought but I figured I’d stop in while drafts were $3 all day. The price of the beer was good, as was the food. I enjoyed the Imperial Stout and Barleywine a lot, but their single hopped Falconer’s Flight sucked. Our service was also horrible, so bad in-fact that we considered just walking out. He took 10 minutes after we were seated to visit us and only came back when I called him to the table, no presence at all of how low our drinks were or anything.
If I came back to find he was my waiter I would immediately leave. If I came back to find he was my waiter |
66 Triumph Philly... A nice brewpub on two floors with a modern feel, TV, wooden feel. Decent food menu with upscale pub menu. Had the poor boy with kielbasa. Beer is decent. Sampler is 12$ for 8 4 on. sample. OK. |
68 I preferred their dark beers, particularly the Imperial Pumpkin Stout. Atmosphere and prices a bit corporate. Food good but overpriced. |
80 Ambiance is a little dim a lot of space for table both upstairs and downstairs, with a large wide bar. Service was knowledgable and gave a real detailed description of the beers, not the typical brewpub bs, selection was nice, about 12 of their beers on tap, most of which were pretty good. Split a flight with Blipp here and it was pretty reasonable cost. nice atmosphere and good beer, what more could you want? |
70 Live music on a Tuesday afteroon, whoa. I guess it was Philly beer week after all. The beers were OK, service was fine. Funky metal gargoyles, don’t forget to look up. |
78 Nice clean modern place, lots of room. Bar was a good size as well. I had a sandwhich was better than most pub/bar food. Our server was very good, knowledgable about the beer and menu. Prices are very reasonable for the city. I think it was only 3 or 4 bucks for a beer. I think they had 8 beers or so on tap. Overall: I would definetly come back! |
78 Came here to kill time before Eulogy opened at 5. Walk into building and greated by a large open bar, seating around. Brewing equip and more tables up stairs. 9 beers on tap, 1 cask. Value score high as we hit happy hour... 2 pours for $5.50. Schwartzbier is tasty. Pleasent time. |
60 Very similar to the Princeton location. Beers seemed a little uninspired. Decent food. |
