Quevillon  (394) Boisbriand, Quebec | June 25, 2018
Visited on June 24, 2018, in the afternoon. Here is under the radar beer bar, that I only read about on the Microbrasserie Labrosse Facebook page that they have some of there beers on tap, also the fact they have been only open for a month now (on the weekend of the Formula 1 race in Montreal). Located on the corner of Crescent and de Maisonneuve, a part of downtown Montreal that is very popular year round, it's better to take public transit to get there then by car. It's a two story pub with a patio on each story, I only went on the first floor, not that big but fairly spacious, the second floor looks bigger on the photos. There is a another entrance on de Maisonneuve, but it's for a different type of establishment and they are not connected. The inside is farley basic decor, no ads whatsoever, style quite comfortable. Now for the main draw, the tap list has no Labatt, Molson or Sleeman produced or distributed beers. The biggest brewery avalable on tap is from RJ/McAuslan with 7 plus a cider and a 750 ml bottle of Death Vally. They also have 5 taps of Beau's (the only none Quebec brewery), 3 from Les trois Mousquetaires, 2 from Dieux du Ciel, 2 more from Labrosse (from Pointe-Claire) and one from Matera (Client Brewer). So in other words, not like the other bars in the area, but the price are higher than usual, but is on Crescent Street. Also they only indicate prices for 16 and 20 oz, but they also have them in half size. The service is good, knowledgeable how ever I have no idea, but I knew what I wanted. As for the food, the pictures seems to suggest mostly pub fare. The last time there was a bar like this in the area was 7 years ago with Unibièrecité on Bishop, hope this one last!
