Large place, the unique decor is compose of many recycled compound which creates the charm of the place. The beer drank were all good they have guest on tap as well. The day we went the bar was desert but with we had the waitress for us. Service was spotless.

Great location in downtown Sorel, in front of a park/square (mmust be nice in the summer). The palce, which served as a large store, then community center, is still a work in progress, but it has charm already. The beers are excellent, and the brewer has the best looking calfes there are (inside joke for Miguel). The food menu is basic, and includes a local favorite: Gibelotte! I shall be back.

This pub is very inviting with its eclectic decor, including school chairs used as bar stools and church benches. The place is spacious and the athmosphere is relaxed. They had six house beers on tap when we were there and a couple guess taps. The beers were all at least very good, the stout bordered on excellence and the McKroken Flower simply amazing.

This place has a nice location just in front of a park. The inside is very spacious with tables and chairs of different colors. The bar stoles are made from old school chairs. The choices of beers from Loup Rouge is limited to 2 or 3 but they are good beers.They also have invited beers. The service was great and knowledgeable.It is a great addtion to Quebec made beers.

This new brewpub is situated about an hour east of Montreal in an industrial town. The eclectic decor with many paintings and unmatched furniture is simply beautiful and makes you want to sit just anywhere and stare at every corner of the place in case you’ve missed something. The beers are already very good, with the Chapeau Noir Stout being a fantastic example of the style. The beers brewed here are not for the faint of tastebud they are for the beer geek at heart and the neophyte with an open mind. Refreshingly bold, this brewpub will soon become a top establishment in Quebec’s ever-growing quality beer scene.

Établissement visité le dimanche 20 avril vers 15h30. Ambiance: Musique en sourdine. Décoration originale: Chassis de fenêtre et vieux fanals au plafond. Fresque sur les murs et plafond. Exposition d’oeuvres d’arts d’artistes locaux. Service: Très sympathique, bonne présentation de produits offerts. Sélection: 2 fûts maisons (stout et IPA) et 3 fûts de microbrasserie québécoise. Différent cidre offert. Nourriture: Sandwich et autres bouchées de disponible. (88e rating d’établissement)

A fun new establishment that takes the growingly popular Coop commercial model. Beautifully decorated pub that promoted local historic folklore as well as modern artists from the region through constant exposition and the occasional show. Brewer Jan-Philippe Barbo’s reputation has been abundantly proven in homebrewers’ cricles and numerous collaborations with microbreweries. Informed, engaged staff is enthusiastic about the project. In terms of selection, there should be a growing amount of their own beers on draught, but there’s also a fair choice of alternative drinks + rarer offerings from underdogs like À la Fût or Hopfenstark. A great opportunity for Sorel’s downtown.
