Awesome place in my home town, I love all their beers, with usually around 9 taps and a few guests. Not always alot of people in there but thats fine with me, you never wait too long to get your beer!

Endroit désert un vendredi soir. Ambiance un peu taverne, mais quand même intéressant. Neuf bières en fût, aucune invitée. Les bières étaient bonnes sans plus. Le service était excellent.

I’ll rate this place because I believe I am the first rater since they moved to a new location. I was there during their Halloween party - aka a less-than-optimal environment for the average beer geek, but I will try to rate it as objectively as possible. Located right downtown Sorel, pretty easy access. They had a selection of 5 of their own beers on tap with a couple invited beers. I didn’t get any food, but it appeared to be a menu of drinking snacks more than anything. The prices were decent, and the overall value was good. I would like to return to this place on a quieter occasion.

I visited their new location for the first time on April 28, 2011, about three years after my first ever visit. It’s really smaller than their original location, almost half of its area, also it feel like regular bar that you won’t think of finding any good beer, but it’s Loup Rouge so yeah there is good beer. They’ve recently started to have their own beers on tap since the opening of the new place, but also they have the Bilboquet version of MacKroken Flower (in bottle). They have a more elaborated food menu, now with pizzas. But they do have the same taps, same bar with the chairs and still one of the main venues for live shows in this town.
