Place was packed as it had just started raining and everyone was trying to come in from outside, which is a large tourist area and it was during Oktoberfest. So perfect storm made it crazy, that being said the service was decent enough considering, but also as you expect in Germany. Beer on draught was all very solid, with all the offerings you could want from Schneider, and a couple of guest lager taps as well. Food is decent, but nothing special. Definitely better places to hit in Munich, but if you're in the area its worth stopping in for a tick or two.
The building appears to be old, however it’s directly across from a McDonalds in a smart part of town. Service is meh. Beers are meh (got a 4 month old bottle). Food looks meh. I certainly hope Munich has more to offer.
Visited this place on a Monday afternoon in April 2019. A nice and spacious place with the classic Bavarian Style decoration. Not that crowded during my visit, the service was good as was the selection. Next time I will try the food.
One of my must visits on my first visit to Munich. Of course the beer is solid but the food was outstanding as well. Probably some of the most mediocre service I had at any beer places in Germany but also tourist filled. We even sat across the room from a family that lives only 20 miles from us in Nebraska and we have mutual friends so digression out of the way, the service must get annoyed but was still quality. Good place, but can't compare to the other big names in Munich.
Quick stop for on a Monday evening, July 2018. Another big typical German-Bavarian restaurant but with a little a bit more modern look than the others. Very busy like the others. I liked it a lot. Very good beers. Nice interior separated in different rooms/levels-floors. Very nice.. I would go back again.

A typical Bavarian Brauhaus restaurant that was noisy and busy with Bavarian dressed waitresses successfully keeping every one happy. There are seven taps of their range plus two guests, a Hell and a Dunkel. Available in bottle are another five of their range. Not all of their range is available on tap. Prices seem cheap with a 500ml tap beer being €4.18. Food was nice and tasty Bavarian dishes.
Visited twice, very central & easy to find. Very efficient & amazingly surly service. Didn’t eat here but food is apparently very good. Hilariously minimally vegetarian with no vegan options. Busy for sure but in a pleasant way but the beer totally stole the show here. I returned the second time to re-drink beers & upon first visit I retried beers already with a giddy excitement. Hopfen-Weisse on tap was astonishing excessing some god-tier haze, if a hipster brewery was serving this the beer world would go insane. Aventinus on tap utterly blew me away as well. I could drink here till I would pass out. Prices are amazing for quality as is wonderfully common in Bavaria. Prices here are weird with all kinds of seemingly random number after the decimal point for unknown reasons.
