Small spot that we visited late at night. Beer was average at best and beer schnapps were meh. Food was okay. Okay stop but after 2 weeks of beer things I was a bit burnt out as well to be fair. Little lady working could barely see over the bar and was a bit annoyed that we couldn't speak German but once we tipped and left she really perked up. Was not a fan of Nurnberg as a whole so my mood was meh. If in town, stop by but otherwise I wouldn't run to it.
Worth a visit if in Nürnberg. Spread over a couple of rooms. Taproom and shop at the entry, beergarden, whisky barrel rooms more in the back of the alley. Nice setting. Good beers, avaialbe in tasters as well. Worth a visit.
Here they serve their own brews from the six taps. The serving sizes are unusual in that they have 0.2l and 0.4l. Tasters are available, one of three beers (€6.20) and one of four beers and one of their schnapps (€11). Food is available with many of the mains incorporating their product in some way.
Wonderful little brewpub in old town Nurnberg. Great friendly, family friendly, atmosphere. Beers were underwhelming-disappointing. The seasonal maibock is great, but this early in the year they had the dunklerbock, which was definitely the best offering. The rote weisse was a complete mess. Worth a looksee, but the beers werent so good.
Cozy, well-wooded pub. Where to have a beer or three before or after the tunnel tour. I wish the beers were a bit more interesting, but I could see getting to know them better over an evening here. A bit touristy, of course, but central Nuremberg doesn't have much in the way of interesting beer.
Dark and old interior with a comfortable feeling. The room is not too large with a bar in the middle, copper pipes and hops hanging from the sealing. The food is really good, while the beer is not too noteworthy. They also have a small shop, where you can buy there beer and stuff like salted or caramelised malt.
