Located at the pedestrian zone in the old town, benches and tables outside. Dark wooden interior, beers only served in 50 cl, good bottle selection, service was so so (Visited October 11th 2019 with Bryne)

Craft beer bar in the Old Town. Benches and tables outside in the pedestrian zone. Black, wooden interior. 9 taps with only beer name, no information about what brewery. Seemed to only offer 50 cl which is too much if you chose a 9.0% beer! Great bottled selection in fridges behind the bar. Easy visible. About 18 bottles from Hop Hooligans. In all, a nice place that could easily get even better. (Visited October 11th 2019 with Gunnar)

Busy rowdy bar just off the main drag in the Old Town. Service was fast & friendly on 1st visit & awful on the 2nd visit. Large menu of beers laid out in an easy to follow order. Mainly Craft, Belgian, German & Romanian, bottles & can.

Had a terrible experience here. They served me an infected beer; I took it back, and they refused to accept there was a problem with it, and wouldn’t let me trade it in. Unacceptable, atrocious service. There is either something wrong with the Ground Zero kegs they have or they haven’t cleaned the lines, as both beers from them we tried were massively infected. A shameful lack of integrity. And if that wasn’t enough, they were insulting after I persisted about the problematic beer, eventually throwing my money back at me, stating, “Take your money - you talk too much”. Nice.

Probably best beer selection in Bucharest, which is a sad thing to say. Advertised selection is quite big, but in reality they don’t have many beers and if only in bottles. Bottle selection is fine, mainly from local Hop Hooligans, which is a good thing. Service is not very talkative or helpful with selection. Still, if you’re in Bucharest, this place is must see (as beer competition is poor in Romania).

Good place to drink good beers. The menu is quite impressive, but more than 50% of beers are not available. Many times, around 20:00-21:00 is very crowded, so hardly you can find a table. Anyway, you need to try it!

With its other branch not far away in Pajaj Villacrosse, probably the best variety of beers in the city. Prices are good for a foreigner and the staff helpful and know their beers. More space and easier to find than the Villacrossei branch. Visited several times since my first review. It remains probably the best place to sample a range of beers in the city. Still allows smoking & not too busy before 2100. Service variable - sometimes a little perfunctory. The beer lists are unreliable, especially that on their website (unchanged for several years) - hence scan the cold cabinets for your choice. The taps have recently specialised in local craft brewers such as Hop Hooligans & Ground Zero which is a welcome development.

Visited in August 2016, probably the only place to go in Bucharest, even if nothing special
