Big Rock Brewery (Gangnam)

Located near Gangnam station is this Canadian craft beer bar, The atmosphere is like a north american sportsbar. It is a huge space with foosball, darts & other pub games. The food seemed good but pricey so I didn’t order it. They advertised tons of daily specials which was cool & the service was good but not really knowledgeable. They did speak English which was nice. I had their sampler for 12000 won which is a decent price but the beers were so so. Good if you want Canadian food/beer or are in the area but not worth a special trip. It is good place to drink of Canada craft beer

I was a little worried how this place would be since its a capture of a Canadian micro brewery in Seoul ROK. They did an amazing job. It has that northern feel with tons of Canadian articles hanging. Very upscale approach. Darts/foosball and large bar seating. They have eight taps of Big Rock beer, plus a bottle cider. The help was nice, but had little to say about the beer. Also watch your head on the way to the bathroom because if your over 5 ft there is a beam right in the middle of the hallway.
