70 A handy stopping point if you’re using the A55. Beers are usually from North Wales micros. Unfortunately on my last visit the beer was served far too cold. |
66 Just above the A55 very close to the junction that serves both Dwygyflchi and Penmaenmawr. It commands some lovely views across the North Wales coast to Puffin Island and Anglesey with a beer garden perfectly positioned for this. It’s a fairly traditional looking pub in its own large building with an interior that resembles a well-to-do chain pub with lots of wooden fixtures, fittings and furniture and soft furnishings in a big open plan space. The bar against the back wall has four real ale pumps with local craft as well national ales rotated here. Food is served here. |
70 Very welcoming and warm, with a range of interesting real ales. Food was fantastic! Logs fires. Brilliant heated patio for smokers. Great view of the sea. recommended. |
