Pengwern Arms

High up on the hill on the southern side of the Ffestiniog urban area, this is a multi-roomed building looking very much like a pub on the outside, although there's communal rooms throughout for various uses, rooms to stay in upstairs and a garden area at the back. The pub itself is in a room on the left hand side after you enter, with the bar area occupying the centre space of its side wall. Here you'll find a couple of cask ales complimenting very ordinary keg dispensed stuff, however something local should be on the wickets. The bar area looks like it has been updated, but in quite a simple way. There's a separate games room.
