Visited on Saturday 5th March 2014, it is more or less across the road from the Mount Gay Visitor Centre (which was shut, it doesn’t open at weekends, even when a cruise ship is in). Lovely beach that this bar is sat on, quiet on the day we arrived. Basic open plan set up with a big TV screen towards the middle. Pleasant bar, but only two beers available, both bottled. Shouldn’t really be a recommended bar, or has the beer selection fallen away since it was first reviewed? Anyway a chap called Steve seems to front it, he has lived in Derby and Leicester before returning to his homeland: he’s a big Arsenal fan and there are a few Arsenal bits and bobs around the place. Food was good, I had a chicken wrap type meal, the wife flying fish. In short a fun and clean/safe place to have a cold beer in Bridgetown but not really a beer hunters venue.

Awesome beach bar, located about a 20 minute walk from the cruise terminal, or a short cab ride. It’s directly on the sand at Brandon’s Beach. I went during the day, and it was not busy at all. Tons of bright white sand and turquoise water. There was a group of young people playing volleyball. They had a few different Bajan beers, that actually weren’t too bad. The food looked decent. It’s a nice way to spend a day.
