Located on a canal opposite Het Klooster. Visited on a sunny afternoon so we could sit outside nicely close to the canal. Selection was decent, but I did not find many surprises, in fact there was only one beer I hadn’t tried before. They do seem to have a rotating bottle menu as well, so I will revisit when I am Delft again. Service was certainly friendy enough. After two beers we headed over to Het Klooster which had more interesting beers.
I came here quite a few times while living in Delft a few years back, and revisted yesterday. It’s a friendly place with some nice beers on the menu. Trappisten Locale te Klooster across the street was my favorite bar in Delft. Now Doerak owns that bar.

Been here many times and I’m sure I had reviewed it, but place ratings seem like socks in the washing machine, occasionally they just vanish.. Anyway, this is one of the best in Delft, located on a canal almost opposite to Klooster. Brown yet bright inside and some seats outside and on the canal for when the weather is nice. There’s always a resonably interesting selection on tap and bottles, with a few surprises. Prices are reasonable and the staff knowledgeable.
Proper Dutch brown cafe, great atmosphere good selection of draught and bottles ( although not quite as good as Klooster jus over the canal opposite ) Friendly service.

We visited Doerak on Thursday 8th October 2015 after the bottle shop and Klooster. Like Klooster this is a lovely café bar situated in a quite very pleasant area of Delft, it is by the canal just across the water from Klooster.
The beer choice here is very good with many of the usual suspects but also a bottle list on the far wall by the toilet has a few rarer or more exclusive bottles. Prices here were very good with Orval at just 3 Euros 20 or 50 whatever the exact figure was it was the cheapest price I’ve paid over here by quite some distance. Even the Het Uiltje meneer BA Bowmore bottle at just over seven euros was very reasonable.
This bar has a much more modern feel than Klooster it may be in an old building (not sure) but it has a much more contemporary feeling. Westvleteren crates are scattered here and there and even make up the facia surround of the bar itself. There is a nice seating area on the pavement/street area out the front alongside the canal, which was well used today. We sat inside people watching and chatting about our last two weeks of holiday that was now coming to an end.
We really liked this bar and really liked Delft this has been our second visit here but sadly both occasion have been brief one night stayovers and Delft deserves more it is a beautiful little town with some great bars. In fact for its size, the concentration of decent bars a great bottle shop etc, I would suggest that Delft packs far more of a punch than its much bigger neighbours to the north and south (Den Haag and Rotterdam)

Nice quite typical Dutch bar that has some standard fare plus a few more exotic beers on both tap and bottle. Prices are very decent compared to most other bars in the region. Especially bottles are closer to store prices than to other bars in quite a few cases. Decent enough but nothing to go out of your way for.
