68 Nice bottle selection and some unusual taps. Loud music. Helpful owner. |
62 Cozy pub in the middle of Århus. Decent bottle selection with quite a few i havent had before. The tap list could do with a bit of work, since for now its mostly Carlberg and the like. Friendly, allthough not very knowable, service ( This is a Belgian strong ale, and it also taste strong !) Wrth a visit in the area and / or Fairbar is to crowded and have nothing of interest on. Good prices |
58 Lots of bottles in the large fridges behind the counter, but unfortunately they only buy beers from "One Pint" which isnt renowned for finding new beers, so when I looked at the many beers I had tasted them all :(.
On the positive side, the actually sell gueuze here. |
54 Only a few uninspiring taps. But anice size bottle collection (by Aarhus standard). Most of their beers seems to be from "One Pint". Ok service, not much knowledge.
(Beer Here, Boon, Orval, Zubr, Innis & Gunn,...) |
58 I happened to walk through an open door before they opened on the day of the official opening. I thought they had been opened for a few weeks already, so I was a bit surprised. There was a very hectic atmosphere with staff running around to get ready and a live band practicing loudly. The service at the bar was very poor, but it was his first night, so that is in some way understandable. The selection was nice with around 70 bottled beers and some rather uninspiring taps with Innis & Gunn as the most interesting among the 8 taps. They had several of the trappist breweries in stock along with some Boon, some British beer and a mix of other countries. The interior was interesting with beer barrels for tables and some nice and soft couches. The noise killed it a bit for me though. I might come back on a regular night for a re-rate, as this was under special circumstances. |
70 Brand new bierbar in Aarhus. Some of the chairs made of beer barrels. The owners speaks english, german and danish. Nice bottled beer collection with trappist achel and westmalle. A lot of english bottled ales. Only one danish micro from Søgaard bryghus Aalborg. On tap there was Carlsberg, Tuborg Classic, Kronenbourg 1664, Hoegaarten Wit, Zubr Gold, Früli and Innis & Gunn Original. Also Innis & Gunn Rum finish and Irish whiskey cask on bottle. Later this year they plan to open for pubfood. |
