Located on the outskirts of the Old Town, the venue is a typical brewpub in Düsseldorf. It is spacious, it has outdoor tables, it serves decent, traditional German food (especially the local Bratwurst and Schweinhaxe), and the selection, nless you’re vistiting during the Sticke season, includes just the Alt - decent as it is - and a Weizen, which unmistakably tastes of Alt. Polite but not exceedingly friendly t another typical feature. Not very expensive but €2 for a 0.25 liter Alt, served to all guests whether they like it or not, may be a little surprise for a visitor unfamiliar with Düsseldorf. And yes, this feature is typical of the city, too. On the positive side: the beer is good and so is the food. Enjoy!
Ambiance - Big brewpub with that very rustic German feel. At the time we came around to this place the places started to fill up with people so the place was lively but not loud. Service - Friendly but rather rough and rustic in that German kind of way. Selection - Their alt, a weissen and an low abv beer (pretty much wort soda). Found their alt very metallic. Not terrible but the weakest of the five we tried in the city. Food - Did not eat. Value - Fair but considering the metallic beer I’d rather put my money elsewhere. Additional comments - None!
