72 Visited the Bierkeller. What a great atmosphere! Good beer, good food, fair prices. Self service, of course, but a fantastic place to relax and enjoy in the middle of nowhere. |
76 Visit Marts 2008. |
78 A large and popular place in Hallerndorf. Food is tasty, the beer is one of the many superb beers you can get in this village, and everything is fine. They also have a little shop where you can buy bottles to go. Franconian quality throughout. |
80 Visited 6.10.17 on time for Friday night dinner. Place was packed and we were sent to a cute back room. Didn't dine as we had eaten on the previous stop. Nice autumn decoration and 2 good taps. Has WiFi |
74 Hard place to get to. Full of locals for lunch. Some where friendly but my German isn’t good enough for casual chat. Only 2 beers, though the Lager is top notch and the weizen also interesting. Had a good salad with them. |
64 Nice place with big biergarten. Good beers in nice setting. |
72 Visited for lunch at friday 14. November. Well visited place in a tiny village not far from Kreuzberg, Good service, good food, excellent prices.Did only try their kellerbier. Nice. Typical franconian place. Lucky villagers. |
78 Visited as the final stop on my walk Friday 17.10.14. Large bar area, many of the other customers were eating lunch. A couple of the cars parked outside were from out of area, so this place seemingly has a good reputation.
Enjoyed the beer here. There is a bus stop opposite for buses mostly to Forchheim, with some to Eggolsheim - the one I caught tuned out to be a minibus. Hope to visit again and for more than 1 beer |
60 Visited spring 2008 with my parents. Cosy, traditionel countryside brauhaus. Easiest to get to if you are in car, parking just outside. Traditionel franconian beers, served in ok condition. Friendly staff, the place has a nice and cosy atmosphere, think it is mainly the locals that are using this place :-) If you are in the area, you should drive by and have a beer. |
80 large restaurant typical for Franconia. community tables, nearly all locals, giving the tourists stares and side-glances. the kellerbier on tap is truly incredible, much hoppier than most, all pale malt, decidedly musty, grassy and fresh. worthy of a visit to drink at the source. |
