17-Dec-2016. Bottle shop located on the edge of the Red Light district, not so far from Centraal station. Decently sized shop, and well lit. Some brewing vessels at the back. Good selection of Dutch beers, and competitively priced. Fridge with a cold selection. Picked up mostly the De Prael staples plus some collabs. Worth a visit.

Inviting, relatively small bottle shop inside of the brewery, around the corner of the brewpub. It gives you the possibility to buy fresh bottles of their beers, but also of some other small breweries from the area for really good prices. Apart from that, they also sell some other stuff like fruit jam or liqueur. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

I only visited the shop, not the actual brewery. Service was quick and friendly. Selection pretty decent, two extra points for the Eddy Wally beer. Worth a quick stop.

The first thing you see here is the gift shop, which offers a large number of their own beers plus a few from other local brewers. You can also find jenever and all manner of souvenirs. Behind the cash register you can see some fermentation vessels, but you have to do the tour if you want to see the brewhouse - although you get glimpses of it from the tasting room around the corner.

Tour of the brewery started in the shop, which sells De Prael beers, some collabs and some from other Amsterdam breweries (like Kleiburg and 7 Deugden). Brewery tour was actually quite nice. Special about the brewery is the fact that it provides jobs to former psychiatric patients.

I wasn’t in the brewery only in the shop, on a Thursday afternoon. Quite big shop but not a big selection. mostly their own beers, some guests and I think collabs.

Nice place, worth a visit if you are in Amsterdam. Mixed public of tourists, Amsterdammers and daytrippers, but the ambiance is quite nice and relaxed. Kind, friendly and helpful service. Selection of beers is not that wide, but at least they have quite a nice selection of their own beers. De Prael offers several tours as well. Despite all brewery tours being kind of the same, De Prael offers you a nice look into the broader social project on which they work. Really interesting to hear that.

Stopped in with a beercycling tour group, so the visit was organized by them. The place is about medium sized for a bottle shop and they sell predominantly their own beers. They do, however, carry other dutch breweries. The staff is very friendly and know about the beers they brew on site. Pricing is decent, especially on De Prael stuff. All bottles come in single bottle format. In other words, you don’t have to buy a 4 or a 6 pack of anything and most beers come in the 33 cl bottle.
