We came here on 12.7.2022. Long bar with good visibility to the wooden barrels. On the right side a shelf with their bottle collection. 20 beers on tap whereof 10 are sour beers. We tasted the Sour Rose, Sour Rita and Lemon Ginger. All were excellent ! Not the greatest bar in the world but the beers are top notch.

Small out of the way taproom at a large barrel facility. Staff were very slow but extremely friendly, the guy took time to wrap my glass carefully for me and threw in some other free stuff. Flights are kinda available, in that they'll just put as many small pours on a tray as you want. I wanted a lot. The quality of the sours is well known, but we also had a stout that blew me away. The quality of the lagers and IPAs is probably best not discussed. I would strongly advise on taking antacids with you, as you will end up drinking a lot of extremely sour beer. A wonderful place.

Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon and got a flight. It's in a warehouse park and it's COVID times so they had an expanded beer garden but still the same great stuff on tap. Heavy on sours as you'd expect but also had a damn good brown and an awesome stout. I mean it's Crooked Stave, do I really need to tell you they're awesome? Tons of bottles to go too, all kinds of different vintages. I am not the world's biggest sour nut but if you are, these guys are still one of the best.

Small tasting room in an industrial area. Very odd, feels like you are going into somebody's storage unit. But there was a good offering of their beers and reasonably priced. The offerings they had when I was there were more earthy funk bs vinous sour (I much prefer vinous sour) but there were some vinous sour and it is a worthy stop, if nothing else it is very interesting place.

Tiny taproom in an industrial part of town. Six Crooked Stave options to choose from, and all of them delicious. Great tunes, service and pours are generous and reasonable.

Crooked Stave has a tiny tasting room in a warehouse complex which should be very easy to get to when Pecos St. is open, unlike when I visited and discovered the road to be closed due to construction. Anyway, they have made good use of the small space putting in wooden furnishings, a small bar and interesting framed beer articles on the walls. I’d say maybe 25 people maximum could fit in here. The bartender was friendly and efficient. Being that Crooked Stave only makes barrel aged, wildly fermented beers the price, availability and selection suffer. But, the major plus is that the beers are absolutely phenomenal. I don’t care that there are only six beers on tap when all six of them are absolutely amazing. Things seem to rotate out at a reasonable pace so the opportunity to try new things will present itself fairly often. I wasn’t sure how to rate selection. It doesn’t cover a lot of ground, but everything is awesome.

Weird hole-in-the-wall place in an industrial park a few miles north of downtown and just west of 25, south of 70. The tap room is very small and cozy. There was one guy bartending at the time and he came off as arrogant. Paid attention to the regulars and talked up the brewery. He got the job done, though, whenever one of my pours was getting low. The beers are outstanding, but the selection was very limited- 6 taps, with only 4 different beers- Surette, St. Bretta (Summer), 2 hop variants of Vieille, and 2 variants of Hop Savant. Those also happen to be the 4 bottles available. That was kind of a bummer for someone hoping to try a wider range of things. The bartender was talking up the new place, which will be bigger and better. As of now, this is worth visiting for the world-class beer, but lacks as an inviting destination.

Visited November 2012.

Small tasting room in the back of an industrial park across the street from a school. Inside is a long wooden bar and some tables separated from the brewery side which is full of barrels. I enjoyed talking to the bartenders about how their beer is made by Prost (the German brewery down the street) and trucked over to be soured in the barrels. They had a pretty interesting set of taps going that they sell small glasses of (albeit for a lot of money). They also have bottles for sale either to go or to drink on premise. I had a set of tasters that I hadn’t tried (six of them) and a bottle of the bourbon Sentience sour quad. The white wine saison and white wine saison with citra hops were my favorites. Looking forward to seeing what they do in the future.

Easy to find brewery tap room not in some crazy to find industrial park. 6 taps on deck with tasters and full pours allowed. Quality was very high with the WWBV being completely insane. One of the best beers I’ve had all year. Service was quick, intimate, friendly. Definitely strike up a conversation with these dudes since they are beer making experts. Lots of fun to visit. Wish they had more variety on tap and in bottles, but looks like the locals clean this place out for good reason. Kudos to one of my favorite breweries!
