Nice and cosy place with a decent beer list and pretty solid food. Not a must place though.

Nice place to have diner in the centre of Leuven. Food is ok, service also. Long beerlist but only the more common beers, no small breweries, no IPA’s or stouts. Decent but nothing special.

Call me puzzled, I couldn’t find anything on the beer menu that looked interesting and there were no favorite producers available, so I went without drinking and instead only ate lunch. The kitchen is a mix of traditional Flemish cuisine and Asian fusion, which is a little odd. Shrimp in vegetables covered in something like hollandaise was what I ended up eating, No hoppy Belgian ales on the menu and overall the list was pedestrian. Did I end up at the wrong place?

An amazing little place tucked away on a side street. We went in just for a drink. The barman showed us up to the roof terrace which we enjoyed on this lovely day. The beer menu had descriptions and pictures of all the beers. Although it was all in Flemish, we could understand the basics.The service was friendly & efficient and the barman had a lot of knowledge about the beers we chose. There were quite a few unusual beers to choose from.

Visited on a Saturday night. It’s a bit in a back-alley from the Oude Markt. Nicely decorated, old home-feel to it, lots of wood, 8 floors but really cosy, nice and attentive service, good beer selection, good spareribs. A bit warm inside perhaps, but I had a nice meal and some good beers here. Nothing fancy though.

95 beers included a mix of Flemish and Wallonian regionals, a couple of real lambics, most Trappists, and some rotating beers of the month. Food ranges from student-priced croques and spaghetti to full-on spare rib feasts. Looks small in the front then spills back, up, down and out over a couple of levels, through some nooks, and onto a terrace enclosed by surrounding buildings.

A nice place. Good food. Decent beer selection for a restaurant.
