Nice, cozy venue with great pizza and decent food. Eclectic, but excellent, beer selection that has something for everyone and usually has some rarities on tap.

Small but decent selection of craft beer. Some local stuff and some U.S. and Canadian stuff when I was there. A few great beers but don't go here looking for whales or different stuff. They had mostly average Virginia stuff without any of the really good ones there. Service just ok, pizza was decent. As most places in D.C. you can get all their tap beers in 4oz pours for all you tickers. Bottle list not super inspired, but I can see that it would have been a decade back.

Visited on 9th October 2017. Large pizza joint on the main road end of a large development. It's modern inside with seats at the bar plus a lot of tables and an outside area. As it was stupidly humid we sat inside. The decor is smart and modern, TVs to watch sport are behind the bar. The food is Pizzas plus some other stuff, I had an excellent Cobb salad. The beer range is really good with pick your own sampler flights. Had a couple of these and the beers were all interesting and new. Service was super friendly, prices good. Definitely a good stop off.

Last DC visit; apparently I forgot to check in and so almost forgot to rate. I arrived fairly late on a Thursday evening; the place was fairly busy but I found a spot at the bar and ordered a pizza. Food and service were both good. Pretty solid locals-focused tap list with individually priced 4oz pours made tasting fun.. This is a good place overall.

Saturday afternoon visit on a very hot summer day. Sat at the bar at the end farthest from the pizza oven, whose heat you can definitely feel if close to it. Friendly and attentive bartender. Great taplist with several just released locals. Extensive bottle list. 4oz pours available. I did not eat, but i expect the food to be similar to their other NoVa location which is good. I like this place, will definitely return.

Visited a couple years ago. It’s got a cool hipster vibe, very different from the more warm friendly vibe of the Leesburg location. They do a good job with tap list, I just wish it had some of the soul that the other location has.

Visiting this place, located in the busy area of Arlington, was the first and only reason for setting my foot on the old Confederate soil. It is a big restaurand with a looooooong and curvy bar. The staff are very friendly and service-minded as well as quite knowledgeable. The selection is impressive. There may be ’only’ 33 taps but they are accompanied by well over the 110 bottles listed here. I haven’t tasted the food but the menu definitely looks appetizing. I will be back again someday.

Fireworks seems to be a relative newcomer to the Clarendon scene, which was once graced by the late and lamented Dr. Dremo - their former location now a construction site a few blocks away. It sits on a corner with a blazing patio fireplace beckoning all to enter. The interior is sleek and attractive, high ceilngs and large storefront windows allowing for plenty of natural light. Of course, one finds the usual array of plasma TVs and booths all about. The bar is a large one that curves inward. The walls are adorned with scads of beer paraphenalia. The tap list of about 5o oft rotating selections was excellent - and included 2 casks (and they fill growlers.) Something for everyone if that something is beer. The server passed the Water Test, so nary a complaint in this area. Then there is the wood stove pizza’ while not as great as those serves at Flatbread (Burlington, VT), their pies were tasty and of managable portions. (I chose the 10" Quattro Carne.0 They seem to have a reasonable Happy Hour, including Sunday until 5pm. And for those who wish avoiding parking hassles, the Courthouse Metro (Orange Line) is a few blocks away. One Issue: I deducted points for "Atmosphere" because they allowed children at the bar. Sorry, this is a serious peeve for me.

Nice outside eating area. Impressive 33 draft list with some beers you rarely see on draft ( e.g. Lindemans Faro Lambic). Available in 4 oz samples. Also a very extensive bottle list.
