Huisbrouwerij Domus

Visited August 2023. Brewpub located in thr old town of Leuven. Interior typical Belgian. Waiter was friendly but rather weird and bit creepy. Beer list is quite standard, nothing extraordinary a beer nerd would look for, their own beers are the most interesting. Overall ok place, but the waiter was a let down.

Ambiance typical Belgian. Tried Con Domus and Zijzoentje. Service a bit distant. (28-4-2021).

Mooi maar eten en bediening niet geweldig.

I went here two days in a row and that was two very different experiences. Needless to say the first visit was by far the best. On that visit I got their flyer with their two standard beers and a seasonal. All three were above average. Judging by their menu they had more beers, so we decided to come back the next day to have lunch and some more beers. Service was fine at the first visit. On the next days I ordered small beers of the three on their menu I hadn't had, but when the waiter brought my beers, he had all by himself decided, that since they didn't have the beers I had ordered, which he off course didn't bother telling me, he would just give me the same three beers I had had the day before. Brilliant idea. He off course felt no need to apologize when I protested about his choices on my behalf. The food was pretty mediocre. Go here only for their own beers, and don't be surprised if service is poor.

Lacklustre beers, just a standard pils (I think even Stella is better) and a very ordinary dunkel. Food once excellent, another time below par so won’t be coming back! Only 2 brews both times I’ve been here.
