92 Great selection of beer and awesome bartenders. Food was excellent as well. Had a great time visiting. |
80 Smallish but two floors with out door seating. Food is standard pub. Nice eclectic beer menu. Prices are a touch high but not crazy. |

Crowds came and went, and the clientele was diverse to say the least. Bartender was busy, sometimes leaving us hanging for 5 minutes or so. Service was on and off. Food quality was pretty low. 3 Stooges Burger was supposed to be sauteed onions, rare, etc. Everything was done incorrectly. Sweet potato fries were limp. Eh, wouldn’t be back unless specialties confirmed on the tap list. |
80 From the stories I’ve been told by Philly beer veterans, Jon’s hasn’t always been a beer destination. In the few years I’ve lived here it has always met, and exceeded, my expectations. A long, well kept, diverse beer list. The patio is the perfect people watching spot on South St. Solid food accompanies the tap list Plenty of good bottles, too. Staff has always been friendly and quick with a drink. Really good choice on Sout St. for a beer and a bite. |
82 Stop by for a quick beer. Sculpin was on tap... Nice... Founders breakfast stout as well. Good local selection and nice bottle list. Lots of good stuff from CA. Lost abbey, Russian River, Balast point... etc.. Bartender was cool and knowlegable. Menu said they do growlers and sixers to go... Thats cool. Hopefully I can make it back. |
80 Been by this place a million times ... its the building on South Street with a huge mural of Larry from the three stooges on it. (The building is where he was born) ... ate outside perfect ambiance as you get to watch everyone walk up and down south street .... beer list was solid they just had a lost & founders event so there were 4 taps of lost abbey and 4 of founders as well as KBS Bottles ... bottle list is well rounded so you should find something but nothing rare .... service was fast and very friendly .... food was good, had the little neck clams and a buffalo chicken salad that were both tasty ... menu has lots of apps/sandwiches/wraps and a half dozen or so dinner entrees .... They have a second floor and outdoor seating up there as well .... I’d definitely check this place out it was solid and they are advertising their craft selection in beer scene and events on the website |
