Finally visited that one on a Sunday afternoon after hitting a closed door a few times in the last few years because it close quite early for a beer store. Small store on the fun Saint-Hubert street and close to l’Isle de Garde. It’s a good looking, clean and well organized store with most of the beers are kept in fridge (and all those who need it the most like hoppy beers). Service was friendly and had a good knowledge of the beers they are selling while not being harassing. Selection is small-ish but well curated - which I prefer to those who claims they have 1000 different beers including some BS breweries. Prices seemed a bit high, even for Montréal but nothing outrageous. A fun store I will visit again if I’m in the area.
A surprisingly good spot for bottle hunting in Montreal. Short but great selection of quality brews and seasonals, including some sold-out everywhere else. Also has a decent selection of more rare and barrel-aged bombers. Staff was quite passionate and knowledgeable which is always a plus. Highly recommended for visiting beergeeks.
Small store close to Isle de Garde. Nice and clean interior with well organised beer displays. Selection is small but well kept, most of it is refrigerated which is nice, lots of tasty non-beer items as well, so fun to do some extra shopping as well. Prices are decent.
Small store that’s not too far from Isle de Garde. Nice wooden interior...seems much nicer than your typical liquor store. Lots of Quebec beers (as well as some non-beer items like cheese).
Pretty nice selection of stuff like Charlevoix, LTM, of course Dieu du Ciel, some Hopfenstark, Dunham, etc. Not as big as I’m sure other stores are, but you can definitely find some winners here, particularly if you’re from out of the area like myself. Definitely recommend this place.
A small shop right on St-Hubert, wooden interior and a well curated selection of Quebec beers smaller than La Grange but it has similar prices and also good knowledgeable service. A nice stop if in the area.
Nice little shop in a bustling strip of stores and people. Little rustic shop with various local packaged Quebec goodies for munching and a decent and well laid out beer selection. The person working the counter was helpful and knowledgable. He steered me to a couple nice bottles I would have overlooked and the prices were pretty on par with other spots I’ve visited in the area.
The closest good bottle shop from where I live, this has been my go-to for the last year. It is tiny and does not carry as many brands as many competitors, but focuses on the essential and rarely miss on the good stuff and concurrently, tends to still have the rarities in stock a day or two after Peluso has sold out. Nice complementary offerings including a small and elitist selection of cheeses and various Terroir treats. Just a charming little store and with unabusive pricing policies and helpful, dedicated staff.
A bright little shop with a great selection of beers and glassware. most of the beer was in fridges and well organized. Lots of craft food products as well. good service, and a nice, clean store. Worth a visit!
