Huge place with indoor and outdoor tables. 60 taps with lots of industrials and local craft and a few quality imports. Flight of 4 small tasters for about $13.

When you first walk in you are not immediately aware of the size of this place. It is quite large, but does not seem overwhelming, as a matter of fact it is still inviting. Beer selection is impressive and food is quite good. A great place for an amateur beer enthusiast who is looking to try new beers.

OK beer bar. Good selection, glad to see rotational taps.

A nice space just of Whyte Ave. Large patio and lots of seating inside. Sports on the tvs. Large tap list, some bottles and cans availalbe as well. Beer serving size ranged from 300ml to 500ml for the most part. Some interesting stuff on the 4 rotating/seasonal taps when I was there - Beer Geek Weasel, Nogne O Imperial Brown Ale, Alley Kat Indigo Dragon and Unibroue Ephemere. I went with the Nogne and later the Mikkeler and both were 9.75 for a shaker. Regular tap selections vary from garbage to decent... not everything here is craft beer. There was some Bud/football promotion going on, and they mentioned something about happy hour as well. Our server was decent and had some basic beer knowledge, she also surprised us by giving us a few free tasters based on what we were drinking. The main gripe I had was about the pricing, which seemed to be too high across the board. The food we ordered had problems and was sent back to the kitchen due to undercooking and blandness. The replacement food faired better, and this place can do some tasty pub grub and finger food if you order carefully. Staff were apologetic and the chef stopped by our table to get some feedback and told us the menu is undergoing some tweaking and will be relaunched in October. Overall, I ended up having a decent time and had two very highly rated beers on draught. I’ll probably be back, there’s some potential here.

The place looked cool if I was into meat markets. See this place being great for the growth of Craft Beer in the city but not my seen. You can tell they worked agents for big time inducements and cared more about the money from the breweries than the beer. That said they did have some really cool beers from small breweries on the menu.

I had a bit different experience compared to the first two raters. I came right after work and it was dead. The service I received was excellent - especially considering this was the "trial by fire" for their serving staff. I sat by myself with one other table out on the patio. We had three servers catering to two tables. The design of the place is slick and similar to their other places. A bit swanky. The beer is priced high. Know that. But the $4 special on Thursday, if it in fact happens, would be a great deal. I was told the $4 special wasn’t happening because they had trouble getting it organized and in place for opening night. I personally suspect someone saw dollar signs and realized they would have a huge turnout without the good prices and wanted to cash in on that. I enjoyed the place and I won’t frequent on days other than Thursdays due to the price but I will definitely be back periodically for the beers they put on tap.

Opening night and very busy. Huge open concept, but cozy, well planned room, loads of dark wood, plenty of windows, booths, benches, stools, high tables (think it can seat 180 inside, and 200 on the large patio) with a long rectangular split sided bar in the middle, 62 taps (with 6 rotating guest taps) on offer on both sides of the bar. Beers range from the usual macro swill to some better micro/craft offerings from Canada, UK, Belgium & Germany. Tap selection could be a lot better and adventurous but this is very much a corporate gig, hence the Stella Artois mini bar as you walk in the main door!!! As mentioned earlier, the usual $4 draught night wasn’t honoured tonight, as it was opening night. Well, don’t advertise it and plaster it all over Twitter if it’s not available. Did see a few people pissed at this. Anyway, majority of beers are served in their correct glassware, all others in the generic MKT 14oz shaker; yup 14oz!!! Prices are on the very high side. Food was very good and is the usual CHG fare; tasty & filling. Service was very good, friendly & attentive. Will definitely go back, but probably just on Thursday’s when it’s cheap ’pint’ night (why it gets a 7 for Value); any other time and it’s too expensive to enjoy. But then one of the things I like about going out to the pub, is that it’s sometimes more about the company you’re with than what you’re quaffing!!!

Opening night and lots of buzz especially the $4 drafts after 7pm. Our waitress told us that because of the large crowd they were not going to honor the special. Customer service is not a very big priority and from all the angy patrons around me I am surprised that any establishment can afford to do this. I didn’t stay to eat as I was very annoyed. Ambiance is trendy casual, with very attractive staff and a slick interior. Beer is a large combination of macro, micro and craft but prices are too high. I will give this place another try, but am not impressed so far.
