On an elevated section of the block facing the NCP multi-story car park on Tib Street, it has a patio area out front covered by the building itself. It’s a commercial unit which doubles as a coffee shop, however they do sell a few beers in can and bottle, but these are not the main sellers. It’s only open in the daytime too, so at best it probably offers a non-pub venue where at least one person can drink if the other or others prefer a more cafe style environment for their softer lubrications. It’s not a place you’ll find many ticks. The majority of options, which were not vast, were from the USA.

Hipster coffee haunt staff were rude (to my girlfriend anyway) seriously dreadful place the coffee is ok but the service isn’t acceptable. Food is below average. You’d never buy a beer in here.

This is a very useful place to refuel on cake if you’re on a crawl in Manchester. North Tea Power’s your typical hip coffee shop, but they also offer a solid range of about 20 bottled beers. You won’t find anything unusual, but they have stuff from Sierra Nevada, Goose Island, Summer Wine etc. The food’s simple coffee shop grub done well. The coffee’s excellent, too. Overall, I like this place.

I visited North Tea Power with the primary goal of getting my hands on some delicious coffee and cake, which was successful. I was however pleasantly surprised to find that they also had a solid selection of beer. About 20 bottles, which included the likes of BrewDog, Goose Island and Anchor. A great place to spend a relaxing afternoon. Staff were friendly and the clientele were in general young artsy types. I will definitely return.
