Peters Kolsch is the house tap beer, and is a pretty decent Kolsch. Place itself is one of the best I’ve visited in Cologne. Food was very good, service efficient, and good value overall.

A big and dark woody place, but the interieur looks really really nice. The Koebes were quite friendly. Had a quick Kölsch (not the best one), and a nice Halver Hahn. The other food is also supposed to be really good. One of many quick stops you can do when you do a walked city tour of Cologne’s beer places.
Visited on Sunday 13th December 2015. Ornate venue in the middle of the old town, stained glass ceiling is pretty spectacular, lots of dark wood, loads of seating but the place was pretty quiet. Had a quick beer and left, which was a shame as it’s a lovely venue. Decent prices, good service. Worth a quick stop in.
Of all the places we visited in Cologne, this one had the best interior, with hops used for decoration, some nice paintings on the walls and on ceiling as well. Service was ok, quite busy, running around place, so we had to wait a bit. As usual in Kolsch places only one beer served, quite bland to be honest. Probably it would be a good place to eat, as food looked nice.
Yet sadly despite the name, it is not a brewpub, as beer is brewed elsewhere.
Huge brewpub between the Dom and Heumarkt. It was almost full the time I visited it. Very nice ambiance, low light, big tables, some stands, hops used for decoration. Service was good, beer was OK, didnt try the food.
